Expungement

When you apply for a job, look for a home, apply to school or college, want to volunteer with an organization or want to adopt a pet, you will probably be asked to submit to a background check. Any sort of criminal record, even an arrest where you were never charged or convicted, can result in your being denied an opportunity.

You may be able to have your records sealed. This process is known as expungement.

Our first step is to determine if you are eligible for expungement. We meet with you and review your complete criminal record to determine if you qualify. If you do, we will outline the next steps, which will involve collecting necessary documentation. We then prepare the documents that we will file to petition the court to expunge your record.
